Blue Gum Walking Track at
Perry’s Lookdown Blackheath Blue Mountains Australia.
One of my favourite spots in the Blue Mountains,
the scent of the Eucalypts is intoxicating at Perry’s Lookdown.
I haven’t been all the way down this track which takes you into the Blue Gum Forest,
but I have walked part of the way.
It’s a very steep track which takes about 4 hours,
and I would only recommend walking it, if you are extremely fit,
and used to walking up and down steep tracks.
From Perry’s Lookdown, which is located at the end of Hat Hill Rd,
you can look out over Grose Valley,
Blue Gum Forest and Mount Banks. There is a camping ground here,
which is very quiet and peaceful, it’s a lovely little spot,
and I highly recommend taking a short detour,
if you are in the Blackheath area.
